Pride as a Salesperson

I take immense pride in being a salesperson. Even my LinkedIn profile’s first line has been “Experienced salesman with entrepreneurial spirit” for quite some time, so you could say it’s a core part of my identity. Especially after restarting my business, I keenly feel that sales are the most crucial aspect directly tied to the company’s survival.

However, it’s true that many people hold negative perceptions of sales. Perhaps some have experienced regret after being swayed by the flashy rhetoric and atmosphere of salespeople. Deceiving customers with superficial sales tactics is not what I consider genuine sales; it’s more like shallow trickery.

I believe sales isn’t just about talking; it’s about providing tangible proof that customers can see and feel. A growth of 63% is one example. This is the growth rate from January of last year to January of this year for one of our clients. Considering the cost savings from operational optimization in addition to the apparent revenue growth, the profit has more than doubled. This growth is only for the portion handled by ECOM-US, not the overall brand trend. And it’s just happened within six months.
